This is one of my attempts at canvas painting combined with smoke painting techniques.
I guess the painting speaks for itself.

The first word that came into my mind when I saw this was "frenzy".Hence the post title :)

I have always thought taking photographs of people is rather difficult and have always shied away from trying to do that. But today I decided to throw caution to wind and showcase my attempt at taking portraits. So here are a few of my initial experiment:

This is my super cute nephew and guide in one of my trips to his house. He was such an adorable kid and I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with him.:)

This was from the same trip and includes my cousin and her daughter. I just liked the expression on both their faces for some reason...though the picture wasn't perfect.

This was from the Subrahmanya trip. The color dress that this Bhaktha was wearing was really attractive and different and I felt compelled to take his picture.

And finally,my favorite-this is a picture of my cousin's granny .

I know I am still a long way from getting perfect images, but the journey to reach perfection is still a memorable one and I wanted to share it .Hope you guys liked it:)

Ever blooming Cherry Blossom!!!

I haven't been able to blog regularly for the past couple of months and I feel super bad about it.I need to get more organised and have a proper schedule in place soon.I keep thinking "from next week on everything will go back to normal" and BOOM the weekend is gone and I wouldn't have been able to plan anything.
For now I will just stick to now and stop planning.I guess I will get more done if I concentrate on one thing at a time.
Ok, first things first..I have been wondering whether or not I should share this for a long time.My cousin and I decided to paint her wardrobe with a cherry blossom tree and spent an entire fun weekend painting in her house. The good news is the painting was well received. It looks nice and looks very pretty in their room (Well it is a girl's room after all :) ) But the bad news is the pictures didn't come out well at all...But I guess something is better than nothing...So here you go:
